As the Principal of this college, I welcome all the students who want to take admission in our College.
This college is named after late Bhanudasrao Chavan, a great social reformer of Marathwada. Marathwada Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, established this college in the year 2016-17 at Lohara taluka, which is known as remote area part of Dharashiv (Osmanabad) district.
From the Nizam’s rule to the post-independence era, this area was neglected by the rulers, so this area could not be developed. In the year 1993, due to the catastrophic earthquake in Killari, life in this area was disrupted due to massive loss of life. As a result there was social, educational and industrial imbalance in the area. Therefore, M.S.P. Mandal’s Hon’ble Secretary Shri. Satish Chavan take the initiative and establish a College in this area keeping in mind the objective of providing quality higher and technical education in this area and bringing the children of the socially and economically backward farmers and laborers into the mainstream of the society through education.
In our College education is available in Arts, Science & Commerce stream from 11 th to Graduation (B.A., B.Sc., B.Com). The College has modern and well equipped state of the art infrastructure with all facilities. Each subject has a separate laboratory, library, gym and all sports equipment and a large playground is made available to the students.
The College has the provision of bus facilities within the area of 35 km. for the girls at a moderate rate has increased the percentage of girls in education and has helped in reducing the rate of child marriage in the area.
The College has MoUs with various reputed national as well as international companies. Through this, the students are given training in skill development and job is made available through campus placement. Students are being trained to become entrepreneurs through the Entrepreneurship Development Cell. Through the National Service Scheme, students are given a vow of social service by inculcating the thoughts of Mahatma Gandhi and Sant Gadgebaba. At a few distance from the College, the organization has established Krantiveer Dattoba Bhosle Defense Academy at Belkund-Devtala Road, Tal. Ausa Dist. Latur in 40 acres of land. In which the students are being trained for the recruitment of various armed forces.
The central management of the institute always gives priority to the all-round development of the students in various fields like academic, social, ideological, cultural, art, literature, sports and for this, various Programs, Competitions, National, International as well as State Level Conferences, Seminars and Workshops are organized throughout the year.
The entire faculty of the College is working with the spirit of sacrifice and service to the country as per the motto of the College ‘योग: कर्मसु कौशलम’ to make the student who comes out of this college not only with a degree but also independent thinking and self-reliant.
