Policy of Anti-Ragging Committee
Ragging is any disorderly conduct by words or action whether by words spoken or written or by an act which has teasing or handling with rudeness of any student, indulging in rowdy or undisciplined activities which cause anyone, hardship psychological harm for creating shame and embarrassment adversely affecting the psyche of the junior student fresher. As per the guidelines of UGC regulations, Anti-ragging cell is formed for curbing ragging in the institution. Our College strongly condemns of ragging practices and tries to maintain discipline.
Objectives
- To bring out an awareness among the students about the consequences of ragging.
- To deal with the incidents of ragging strictly
Procedure
If any student or group of students found guilty of ragging in the campus, he/she will be liable to the punishment. A written complaint can be put in a complaint box of the College. He/She can directly write to the Co-ordinator or a member of Anti ragging Committee. If there is a case of ragging, the committee looks into the matter and brings to the notice of the chairman of the institute. The Anti-ragging Committee shall complete the inquiry and submit its report along with recommendation to the chairman of the Anti-ragging committee of the institute within fifteen days of the incident.
